Method
- Add the frozen strawberries, fresh strawberries, lime juice, maple syrup, and non-alcoholic rum or bitters (if using) to a high-speed blender.
- Blend on high until completely smooth. Stop and check the consistency — if it’s too thick to pour, add ¼ cup of water and blend again. Add a little more water if still needed, a splash at a time, until it reaches a thick but pourable texture.
- Taste and adjust. A little more maple syrup if you want it sweeter; an extra squeeze of lime if you want more tartness. Blend once more briefly to incorporate.
- Pour into chilled coupe or daiquiri glasses — chilling the glasses first keeps the drink frozen for longer. Garnish with fresh strawberries and a lime wheel and serve immediately.
